Fresh Artists was founded in 2008 out of the necessity to keep art alive in underfunded public schools. They do this by engaging the children who donate the use of their art for large-scale installations in unexpected places such as in the board rooms of Fortune 100 companies. These companies then donate funds to support the purchase of art supplies and to generate innovative art programming in public schools.
